Nike LeBron 9 Low – Black – White – Sport Red

Each year’s LeBron lowtop is delievered during the postseason and into the NBA’s off months as a summer shoe, much in the style of the Air Jordan that began this practice in the mid/late ’90s. Within that context, the exuberant and utterly un-Heat-like colorways we’ve seen from the Nike LeBron 9 Low to this point are pretty much what we would have expected from a design whose immediate predecessor’s biggest hit was nicknamed ‘Flamingo’. This new colorway, then, is something of a departure, even though it’s the color combination most familiar to the Nike LeBron lineup and the first general release from this year’s flagship.
