Nike LeBron 9 – Black – Red

Nike LeBron 9 – Black – Red

Nike Lebron 9 New Images Summary

“What we do in life echoes in eternity.”

Those were the words of Maximus Decimus Meridius, the fictional lead character of the Oscar-winning Gladiator film of 2000. Just one year ago, LeBron James was viewed as a ‘Gladiator’ – a savior to the kingdom of Cleveland and the NBA dying for another star-studded leader to carry the torch, but his decision to leave his men behind for greener pastures has overshadowed his career achievements and has marked him in ways we might not attribute to a leader. Will ‘The Decision’ echo in eternity? The famous quote from Gladiator can be found in the opening scenes of the movie, as Maximus stirred up his downtrodden troops with his powerful words and actions, so you might think that the use of such words in a LeBron shoe might be a bit contradictory. At the end of the day, LeBron James is still one of the best in the game and with him on your team, your chance at championship glory is as good as it can get.

The Nike LeBron 9, previewed mid-day yesterday on Sneaker News, is the ninth signature shoe in the Nike LeBron signature line. We pointed out the technical aspects of the shoe – the Flywire upper, carbon fiber panel, heel Max Air and forefoot Zoom Air, the spoiler-like heel-tab. These new detailed shots shed light on the intricacies, like the Gladiator quote engraved into the toe of the outsole and the crown-like etched detail at the heel above the Max Air unit. Stay tuned to Sneaker News as we bring you more updates on this highly anticipated ninth chapter of LeBron James and Nike, and be sure to let us know what your thoughts are after the jump. via LRJ23/TeeLeo.
