In retrospect, the South Beach LeBron 8 could not have arrived at a better time. Hearts were still sensitive about LeBron departure to Miami, but instead of succumbing to the angry rants and blog-posts, Nike responded with ‘Rise’ and hit us with the South Beach colorway, boldly stating “He’s in Miami now. Deal with it.” in such a way that not much else could be said. Since then, the South Beach LeBron 8 skyrocketed in price while LeBron went to the NBA Finals in his first season with Miami, solidifying his decision to truly be to the best of his interests. ‘South Beach’ returns once more to the LeBron 9 Elite, which carries a hefty price-tag of $250 thanks to the re-tooled build and materials like carbon fiber, Pro Combat, and a lightweight upper. No U.S. release date has been confirmed yet, but these have begun to pop up at Euro retailers like ATAF, so perhaps a release will be sooner than later. We’ve got another detailed look below so take a gander and let us know what you think.
