A sufficiently targeted search through the Sneaker News archives will reveal that a mere three colorways have dropped since the revamped Nike SB Team Edition launched back in December. That same search will also provide some insight into the fact that the above pictured colorway has now been profiled as many times as pairs preceded it to market. And it is with good reason that this standout Team Edition (2) gets a bit of extra attention, its rustic colorway so unique that the only obvious reference available is to the Virginia Tech Hokies or any number of the shoes to which they’ve lent maroon and orange in recent years. Southwestern Virginia isn’t exactly a hotbed of skateboarding activity, but those colors play well on the Team Edition SB that you can see in more images after the jump, and they’re available now at select stores like Premier.
