Wingtip shoes have always been a popular style of dress shoe, but it’s made a furious leap into the casual lifestyle sector – particularly with sneakers. Skate brands like Vans and Nike SB have dabbled with the prim and proper wing-tip styling, with the latter pushing forth the ‘Brogue’ edition of the mid-top Janoski that hit stores in 2011. Solecity Pinas tweaked the Mids by giving it an all-black upper with a contrasting white toe-cap for an old-school appeal. Better than the originals?
