Over the last month, Carmelo Anthony has been playing the best basketball of his career, leading the Knicks charge into the Playoffs to a much-anticipated match-up against either the Heat or Bulls, or even the Pacers if they managed to capture the 6-seed. In what has been an awe-inspiring display of at-will offensive acumen, team-oriented leadership, and an overall MVP-type play (epitomized by his second career triple double last week), Carmelo has proven that he’s not only one of the best scorers in the game, but still one of the best period. This upcoming May 9th release of the Melo M8 is like an ‘Alternate’ Knicks get-up, as it swaps out the classic Knicks blue for Anthracite, creating a new look at a Knicks vibe anchored by the patent leather orange blaze upper.
