To some extent the Puma aesthetic will forever be mixed up in the golden era of Hip-Hop in NYC, with b-boys across the boroughs selecting suede pairs for their various activities. And while Puma no doubt knows and celebrates that heritage they’ve also focused on moving it forward, as evidence by the all new PUMA Suburb Mid shown here. The set of sneakers exude a forward thinking design, both through the pushing of the familiar Puma side swipe down a bit in its levels and mix of differently textured leathers splashed across the uppers.
