Up to this point the Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite ‘Varsity Maize’ has been sort of the odd man out as far as colorways go for the Nike LeBron 9 Elite, with no apparent connection along the same story line of the regal gold versions and the revisit to the ‘South Beach’ theme. Our recent exclusive sit down with Nike Basketball designers Jason Petrie and Leo Chang did help to shed some light on the black and yellow pairing however, intended as a re-imagining of the traditional Miami Heat color combos.
