While the Superstar shelltoe is one of adidas Originals more common releases, the variation pictured above comes around far less frequently. So it’s a nice surprise to see a new adidas Originals Ultrastar shelltoed lowtop hit retailers, this black leather design featuring colorful outlines on its branding that leave these a basic green shade away from a blacklit Olympic Flag. Then again, it’s just as easy to see an Oly-connection in 2012 as it is to come up with a suitable match for the five most primary pigments, and this pair just arrived at Japan’s mita sneakers. Click through for more images and let us know if you’ll buy these if/when US retailers stock them.
