Merriam-Webster defines correlate as “two things so related that one directly implies or is complimentary to the other.” In the case of the Nike Air Max Correlate, Nike Sportswear is bringing together elements from the Swoosh’s early ’90s Air Max standouts for one casually-oriented faux-retro runner that just dropped in a brand new colorway. This Sport Red, black and white combo hearkens back to Michael Jordan’s heyday with the Chicago Bulls, which is fitting given this model’s clear appropriation of elements from the Air Max 90 and Triax 94 among others.
