When you consider something like the Jordan CMFT series’ place in the sneaker world, it’s somewhat ironic that a casually oriented running hybrid would foreshadow a major shift in the flagship line. But that’s exactly what’s happened to noted Jordanhead and Nike SB alum Paul Rodriguez, whose sixth Swoosh signature sneaker has switched to LunarLon cushioning following five straight Zoom-cushioned efforts. We can now look back and see the P-Rod V Lunar Hyperstrike as foreshadowing the shift, so maybe we can take this new Nike Paul Rodriguez 6 Lunar Rod as a sign that a seventh is forthcoming. The second such design crystallizes the LunarRod line as a P-Rod silhouette redone with a pronounced LunarLon platform, and this pair mixing Crystal Mint suede with white accents has serious style to boot.
