Taka Hayashi x Vans Vault Chukka LX TH

Longtime Vans collaborator Taka Hayashi has a few new tricks up his sleeves for fall, the first of which is a unique twist on an established Off the Wall favorite.  The Vans Vault Chukka LX TH applies the Japanese designer’s premium handcrafted feel to th familiar midtop Chukka Boot silhouette, adding (what looks to be) an asymmetrical leather mudguard and heel, while swapping out the iconic Waffle sole for a lower profile base like the ones he used on his own Akat.  Monochromatic styles in black, brown and blue are available now at Vans Vault retailers, so click through for more and let us know which pair(s) you’ll pick up.  via FNG
