Air Jordan V – White – Fire Red – Black

A few preview photos with blindingly intense lighting have made some wonder if the latest ‘Fire Red’ Air Jordan 5 Retro might be done in white patent leather, but these latest images prove that’s a distinction that’ll remain solely with 2009’s ‘Dark Army’ and last year’s ‘Midnight Navy’.  If anything, these Fire Red Fives get closer to their roots than when released in the ’08 CDP, as the ’23’ embroidery is eschewed in favor of a classically clean build like all those originals strewn across Mars Blackmon’s bedroom twenty-three years ago.  Stick with Sneaker News as we approach the late January release date and check out a bunch of new images below in the meantime.
