The annual New York City Marathon has been a popular pick for special edition running sneakers, with brands like Nike and New Balance releasing some unique NYC-specific colorways for the event. Unfortunately, there was 2012 race as Hurricane Sandy deemed the race a trivial pursuit, but we’re still getting some more kicks to ease the pain as adidas hits us with a ‘New York Marathon’ edition of the PrimeKnit.
