The Air Jordan Legacy’s influence is so vast we take as a given that any and all Nike and Jordan Brand sneakers are candidates for tribute. It is far less common to see one of today’s signature lines exert its own gravity on the ‘numbered’ models, but that seems to be the case here with the Air Jordan V GS. Make that into a full size run and you’ll see sneakerheads snapping these up with the same frenzy of the Nike LeBron ‘Floridians’ colorways that pioneered the rainbow sherbet-leaning analagous accents. Black with pink and orange accents seems to look great on everything, so putting it on the venerable Air Jordan 5 makes for a strong result that bridges Mike’s last pre-championship season with LeBron’s first as NBA king.
