It’s sad that the Nike LeBron 9 Elite didn’t have a longer life-span, because all of those crazy sample colorways like the ‘China’, ‘Volt Dunkman’, and more could’ve hit stores. Unfortunately, Nike was extremely selective with its Elite-level releases, dropping only the Home/Away combo, the Taxi, the Miami Vice, and later the Championship colorway as part of the Pack, but luckily for us sneaker customizers have looked to the Elite as the perfect canvas for unthinkable creations. SmoothTip recently fashioned the Elite in the jaw-dropping Watch The Throne style, adding the sick Givenchy-inspired graphic on the inner lining as well as on the laces and the crazy golden jewel-piece on the laces.
