It’s sad that Rajon Rondo won’t be able to rock these for the remainder of the season, because his Playoff-basketball intensity is what makes the Celtics a dangerous team regardless of their seeding. Boston will have to made do without him, but what stinks for sneaker fans is that whatever sneakers he had picked out for the Playoffs would have impressed us for sure. He was already a major candidate for Sneaker News NBA Feet MVP of the season, but with the injury taking him out mid-way through the year, he’s no longer eligible – although our rules aren’t exactly rock-solid.
