If you caught our interview with Eric Koston and Nike Designer Shawn Carboy, you’d already know the cool story behind the Nike Koston 2 IT and how it required the collaboration between two seemingly unrelated sports. The shoe itself is a hybrid of two things, the Nike Koston 2 upper, and the outsole of the Nike Lunar Swingtip – a shoe that was inspired by Shawn’s design. The Nike Koston 2 IT – or Integrated Traction – features a unique leather upper that won’t stretch out and warp the original shape of the shoe, while the outsole is as golf-ready as you can get with the state-of-the-art outsole that provides ample support without the weight.
