The adidas Mutombo looks something straight outta the Jeremy Scott line, but this early-90’s original was done out of the eccentric designer’s grasp (although a Jeremy Scott x adidas Mutombo sounds inevitable and equally insane). While the original colorway is indeed making a comeback this July, we’re getting a first look at some new concepts as this Royal Blue/Red colorway is splashed on the upper for a refreshed look. November 2013 is the ETA for this Sixers and semi-Knicks looking colorway (betcha don’t remember Mutombo on the Knicks), so check the additional angles and let us know if the adidas Mutombo comeback is anywhere on your radar.
