It’s a bit overwhelming when you look back at all the crazy sneaker designs that came out of Tinker Hatfield’s imagination, but there has to be a number of unreleased mock-ups that never saw the light of the day. One of those scrapped models is this prototype of the Air Jordan IX Low; it features the same midsole construction as the Air Jordan IX, but the upper adopts a much more “lifestyle” approach with the classic toe-box and heel build while managing to distinguish itself with the diamond-stitching and tiny triangular perforations.
