Kobe Bryant’s love of the sport of soccer traces back to his childhood days in Italy, where he spent as much time dribbling a basketball with his hands as he did a soccer ball with his feet. The international sport has played a unique role in the history of the Nike Kobe signature line as well, with the Nike Zoom Kobe V being first to adopt that super low-cut construction often seen with football boots. With the Nike Kobe 8, Nike Basketball takes it a step further into the soccer field with the Nike Kobe 8 Mambacurial, which combines the Nike Kobe 8 silhouette with details from the Nike Mercurial Vapor football cleat – notably the Swoosh at the toe, the bold NIKE placement on the medial side, the graphic of grass on the outsole. There are some spicy Nike Kobe 8 releases still on the way, with the Mambacurial being one of the must-haves of the bunch, so enjoy this detailed gallery below and stay tuned to Sneaker News for all your Kobe 8 info.
