The last week of August us upon us, which means that most of our 21-and-under readers are likely moaning and groaning at the thought of another year of school. That means the sneaker releases are heating up as we enter the colder months, and of course Sneaker News kept you on top of everything you need to know about kicks. First off, we showed you the next “OG” release of the Air Jordan 1 while showing you some bare peeks at the Air Jordan V “Doernbecher”. The “Terracotta Warrior” colorway of the LeBron 11 was debuted as well, while the “Pit Viper” Kobe 8 definitely had Kobe fans excited once again. NSW was impressive with an Air Trainer 1 “Infrared” and some dope Lunar Force 1 releases, while CLOT got another round with the Air Max 1. Nike SB has some collabs on deck too – namely the fragment design joints featuring the Janoski and Koston.
Bodega revealed their New Balance 577 “HYPRCAT” project, WEST and Saucony came together for the “Tequila Sunrise”, Stan Smith made its first appearance since 2011, and Solebox brought some incredible details and features to the Reebok Pump Omni Lite. Ewing revealed the next silhouette in their line-up (the Guard), and another Vans x Supreme collaboration is to be expected later this season. With Tracy McGrady retiring, Sneaker News looked back at all of his signature kicks with adidas.
