Where Will Foamposites Go in 2014?

2014 Foamposite Releases 2

What direction will Foamposites go in 2014? This past year marked a major shift in Nike Sportswear’s approach to the beloved Penny sneakers, as it was the first one on record that had more graphic Foamposites than it did solidly colored ones. And yes, some of those patterned releases were lambasted, but a good number of them also pleased the public. Consider the results of our recent Best and Worst Foamposites of 2013 poll: the “Weatherman” and “Thermal Map” pairs were the least favored while the “Oregon” and “Fighter Jet” were the favorites. Regardless of public opinion, it seems like graphic releases will continue to be the norm as evidenced by the upcoming “Spider Man” and “Silver Camo” versions for 2014 that are on display here. Continue reading to see the full results of the Foamposite poll as well as the two confirmed 2014 releases, and let us know in the comments if you think Nike will continue down the “graphic” path while sprinkling in a few tonal colorways.
