The New Balance 998 is feeling a lot of heat at the moment thanks to the strong releases coming from the neighboring New Balance 997, a model that’s triumphantly returned in 2014 with its original tooling on deck. On top of that, the New Balance 998 hasn’t had any collab help yet this year, as opposed to last year where we got a team up seemingly every couple of months. And yet the model is trooping on with strong colorways like this one featuring a speckling similar to that found on the larger crop of April, 2014 pairs.
