The resurgence of the retro Mutombo line by the three stripes was popular enough to bring us a new silhouette decades after the original pairs disappeared from store shelves in the adidas Mutombo TR Block. The training shoe managed to keep the identity of the tribal inspirations from shoes like the Mutombo 2 as the print is featured on a new midfoot strap as well as the heel and inner lining and today we get a view of two new colorways. The first would fit right in with Dikembe’s time in Houston featuring an all red upper while the second features a contrasting vivid blue and gold color scheme.
