Nike Unveils The Elite Digital Ink Print Sock

Nike Elite Digital Ink Print Sock

The meteoric rise in popularity of socks can be credited to a number of events, but what truly sent the “sock game” to new heights was the release of the Nike Elite Sock “Galaxy” during the 2012 All-Star Weekend. Those socks, which matched the Galaxy Foamposites, were as hotly coveted as the shoes, and from the strength of that sock alone, a whole new industry trend was created. Today, Nike alters the horizon once again with its new Elite Digital Ink Print printing process, which results in the most colorful and consistently rich garments out there.

The new printing process allows Nike to give unprecedented color to the pieces without distorting the graphic and getting the ink into the deep nooks and crannies (and those who rock custom socks know that color distortion is a big issue). Kicking things off is a limited “First Edition” colorway of the Nike Elite Digital Ink Sock, which releases exclusively on June 21st at Nike.com. Only 2,014 units will be available so if you value your sock rotation, these are a must-have! Check out the photos below and stay tuned for more releases in this new line of Nike socks.
