A Detailed Look at the Nike KD 7 “Calm Before The Storm”

The theme of “Lightning Strikes” for the launch of the seventh’s signature shoe for Kevin Durant continues with this rendition called “Calm Before The Storm”. This colorway, which first debuted at the Nike KD 7 official launch in late June, tells the story of the darkening clouds that accumulate just before a massive storm hits, and there’s no denying that Kevin Durant will whip up some chaos on the court when he takes on the world with Team USA on his side.

Releasing in two weekends, the Nike KD 7 “Calm Before The Storm” pairs an ominous grey tone with a bright Hyper Punch for that jolt of energy that all the KD releases thus far have provided with ease. A closer view of the Hyperposite heel reveals a subtle graphic print that further represents the dark skies before all hell breaks loose. Get a closer look at this upcoming release for yourself, and stay tuned for the latest on KD 7 releases and updates here on SneakerNews.com.

The Nike KD7 “Calm Before The Storm” releases on August 16th at select Nike Basketball retailers.
