The Nike Air Tech Challenge II got a huge boost in notoriety simply by being utilized as Kanye’s outsole of choice for the Nike Air Yeezy 2, but don’t be fooled into thinking that the silhouette can’t stand on its own. In fact, we’ve seen a number of retros of the Agassi classic this past year, but perhaps the most recent to stand out were those two near-monochromatic models in both a Burgundy and Navy. Not to be confused with that other Obsidian/Black pair, this black based-model makes use of a micro-perf toe-box and suede throughout for a luxurious aesthetic. Still no word yet on a release date, but be sure to stick with Sneaker News for more updates.
