We’re happy to see that Concepts has decided to weave a consistent story between their disparate Vans creations. When they first linked up with the Vans Syndicate team they paid homage to a seedy Boston district, and this time they’re paying homage to influential event space The Rathskeller, which is described as “New England’s answer to CBGB’s”. The sneakers wear cracked leather to simulate a duct tape look, along with some washed denim paneling to mimic the many bleached jeans and jackets that have been in the space over the years.
