A few months ago when New Balance announced the option to customize the 990 retro runner, then updated the site to add more options for the holidays, it brought the multifaceted model to the forefront, exposing the shoe to a much wider audience. And while those custom options certainly allow for creativity and foundational variations of the shoe, the inline releases are equally alluring. Today brings about another in black suede and mesh construction paired with brown accents throughout the “N” logo branding, rear and tongue. The look is finish with a white collar and midsole which lightens the predominately bold, dark colorway of the NB 990. Give them a look after the break and look for the release on December 1st.
