Asics Gel Lyte III “Crane & Turtle” Pack

Asics ramps up their new Asics Tiger retro and sportswear division with an impressive two-colorway set of the Gel Lyte III. Inspired by an old Japanese proverb which states, “Crane lives for 1,000 years; Turtle lives for 10,000 years.” the “Crane and Turtle” pack features the iconic Asics runner in color schemes modeled after the two symbols of long life and longevity. First is the “Crane” GL3, which is constructed in premium suede with grey and rich red hues accented with white and a speckled midsole. The “Turtle” receives an olive green, brown, and tan suede upper, and also sits atop a speckled midsole. Each also features custom sockliners with crane feathers and turtle shell patterns, respectively. Would you say this is a good beginning for the new Asics Tiger imprint?
