Mark Gonzales x adidas Originals Superstar 80s “The Gonz”

Mark Gonzales defies classification. He’s proven this with his legendary skateboarding career all the way to his poetry, painting & more, as you’re just as likely to reference The Gonz as a skateboarder as much as you are to label him an artist. adidas Originals continues to push the return of the Superstar 80s, this time letting Gonz display his artistry in a simplistic all white leather upper. The thought process is that the wearer will subject the clean white base to either the natural erosion of scuffs and weathering or take to the silhouette with their own creative endeavors. It’s a blank canvas. There are a few name callouts throughout the Superstar though, as Gonzales appears on the lateral while debossed hand lettering arrives on the tongue and heel. The Gonz adidas Superstar 80s arrives February 9th.
