Asics Gel Lyte III “High Voltage” – Grey – Purple

Asics readies us for Spring/Summer 2015 with the latest Asics Gel Lyte III installment. Apart of the mysterious ‘High Voltage’ Collection, the classic 90s retro runner sports a marbled outsole with faint hints of grey to add a luxurious base, but the upper isn’t all that vibrant to be classified as ‘High Voltage’. Instead the shoe takes on a semi-tonal approach, utilizing a number of grey shades to cover the heel counter, suede and mesh toebox, and synthetic leather branding. The only hits of color throughout the primarily black base can be found on the mesh ankle collar and heel. No word yet on what other looks will help comprise the electricity themed pack in the future, but check out more of this Gel Lyte III below and be on the lookout for this colorway to arrive in U.S. shops soon.
