If you follow Boston’s Concepts on Instagram, you’ve seen them teasing a special edition shoe for St. Patrick’s Day over the last few days. Now we finally get a look at the entire shoe, and we see that the collaborative sneaker in question is the Converse Weapon. Celebrating Boston’s proud Irish heritage with a definite nod to the legendary Celtic that wore the iconic hoops shoe during the 1980’s, Larry Bird, the shoe sports a black and green leather upper with a white midsole. Subtle Concepts logos with a shamrock in the “O” are found on the upper embossed in tonal black, as well as on the lace tips. The Concepts x Converse Weapon releases just ahead of St. Patrick’s Day, dropping on March 14th exclusively in-store at the Concepts Cambridge, Massachusetts location.
