After 11 Years, “Wheat” Makes It Return To The Nike LeBron

Wheat Lebrons 2

The Nike Air Zoom Generation, LeBron James’ first signature shoe with Nike, released in late 2003 in some simple black/red colorways befitting the Cavaliers colors. It took a few months for a non-team version to be unveiled – the all Wheat pair that Nike graced LeBron for the 2004 NBA All-Star Weekend. The rookie sensation wasn’t named to an All-Star team (an understandable snub), but he tore it up in the Rookie Challenge when he, Carmelo, and Dwyane Wade participated in an in-game dunk-off over the last few minutes of the game. This Saturday, that rugged wheat look returns to the Nike LeBron, complete with a magnificent gold swoosh, a studded lace dubrae, and “12th Generation” embroidered on the heel pull-tab. Are these a must-have for you? Get a detailed look at the LeBron 12 “Wheat” below and stay tuned for the release on Saturday.
