Today adidas Basketball unveils a new special edition of the D Lillard 1, designed especially for players balling in this summer’s Gauntlet high school basketball events. The AAU tournaments sponsored by adidas offer inspiration for the PE designed exclusively for the premier teams competing, featuring a metallic silver upper with black and grey accents. Details include a translucent outsole with graphics underneath, and “adidas Gauntlet” printed on the sockliner. The adidas D Lillard 1 “Gauntlet” PE will see action beginning this weekend with the Gauntlet tournament in Dallas and at other Gauntlet destinations up to the finale in Atlanta on July 10th where the #1 AAU team in the nation will be crowned.
