It wouldn’t be the first time that Nike slyly referenced a player that was never officially signed to them as late last year they got a cease and desist from A.I. for their Nike Zoom Flight ’96 “Allen Iverson” pair. Iverson was one of the most highly touted players in NCAA history and one of his favorite shoes to wear during his collegiate stint was the Air Jordan 11 “Concord”. And while it’s a bit of a stretch to proclaim this pair the Iverson Lows, the memories of The Answer pre-Reebok will always be best preserved through photos of him donning Tinker’s patent leather classic.
