Tonight, the 2015 NFL Draft will usher in the newest class of young athletes that will shape the future of the sport. Among the key players bound to go in the first round is the Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota, who is poised to elevate the winning attitude of whatever franchise he gets selected by. While success in college sports doesn’t always translate to the pros, what stays consistent is a player’s work ethic, intelligence, and desire to learn more. Fortunately, the former Oregon Ducks star QB has all three of those key traits.

To celebrate tonight’s NFL Draft, Nike created just two pairs of these special Lunar Force 1s inspired by Mariota’s Hawaiian roots. With traditional Hawaiian graphics etched onto the upper of the shoe and Koa wood making up the construction of the custom-made box, this Lunar Force 1 pays homage to Marcus and his hometown of Honolulu. Just two pairs of these “808s” were made so don’t expect a retail release, but get an exclusive look here.
