This weekend one of the biggest releases of Jordan Brand’s year will be arriving, as the fourth generation of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Chicago” hits retailers. Instead of going into the shoe’s rich history of how it helped pave the way for the sneaker industry as we know it today, here’s a look at how each of the Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” pairs stack up against each other. After debuting in 1985, Nike released the first retro of the Chicago 1s in 1994. It wasn’t until 2013 that the shoe returned, only this time the construction was a bit different thanks to additional Jumpman branding on the tongue and heel. This year’s pair flexes a dedication to traditionalism, as the overall silhouette resembles the originals with the ‘Remastered’ thought process in tow, leaving the 2013 as a noticeable outlier.
