The landscape of retro sneakers is undoubtedly saturated with re-releases of anything exciting from the 80’s and 90’s, but occasionally Nike will surprise us with an entirely unexpected release. The original Air Force 1 release from 1982, the first Nike Basketball shoe featuring Air technology, will make a return, but for those a bit confused as to why this is such a big deal, just repeat this to yourself – it’s the first Air Force 1 shoe ever released. The fine details like the NIKE AIR on the heel as well as the silver swoosh are will have the tenured AF1 fanatics going nuts over these, so don’t expect these simple white/grey Forces to fall on the wayside when they drop next weekend.
