2nd overall pic D’Angelo Russell announced via Twitter that he has signed a deal with Nike to be one of the brand’s roster athletes. But, if you’ve been following the future star on Instagram, you’d know that Nike was pretty much the one and only destination for this potential signature athlete. There’s plenty of potential of Russell to be a valuable asset to Nike Basketball for years to come, because he fits the successful blueprint down to a tee (and what better way for Kobe to pass the torch along than to his own teammate?).
