The adidas Superstar 80s has seen a resurgence this year as adidas Originals has chosen it as the premier lifestyle silhouette for 2015. That means classic installments, collaborations, Primeknit varieties, and more have all landed on the ubiquitous shell-toed classic to give it some modern-day comfort and style. Today the adidas Superstar is back in a premium patent leather gold that steals the whole Liquid Metal vibe from rival Nike. We last saw the aesthetic on a very similar Star Wars themed C-3PO pair. But just incase you weren’t a fan of the Lucas Film franchise, this in-house colorway creation returns with a metallic gold luster extended to the midsole as a chrome shell-toe contrasts.
