It makes enough sense – when the greatest player to ever lace up a signature shoe made history in red and black, why reference any other time? The brand has finally gone contemporary in terms of MJ’s current franchise though, as the Hornets theme of purple and teal is on full display with the “Feng Shui” Collection. Highlighting the present with the Air Jordan XX9 and Jordan Super.Fly 4, the brand also digs into the archives to bring out the ubiquitous Air Jordan 1. Each colorway exudes a Charlotte vibe thanks to purple and teal accents, but each silhouette approaches the look differently. You’ll remember these Air Jordan 29s from being featured on a number of Hornets players’ feet throughout last season too.
