We’re happy that ASICS is taking a completely different route to the Christmas festivities this year. Instead of going the candy cane or green and red route, everyone’s favorite retro running purveyors are bringing back the ASICS Gel Lyte III and ASICS Gel Lyte V in two premium Liquid Metal renditions. While the Holiday motif isn’t readily apparent, you could chalk this up as an inspiration to the 3 wise men’s gift of gold or even the bright quality of decorative lights throughout the holidays. With monochromatic uppers that carry a metallic sheen with just the right amount of neoprene and suede, each pair rests atop a simple white outsole for good measure. Germany’s own 43einhalb is reporting that each pair will be available on October 30th at midnight, but we’re waiting for information regarding U.S. availability. Full photos below.
