The Just Blaze x Packer Shoes x Saucony Grid SD Will Be Loved By ‘Lo Heads

There aren’t many more rabid collector sub-genres out there than the fans of vintage Polo gear. Among the ‘Lo Heads, as they call themselves, is legendary hip-hop producer Just Blaze, who teams up with Packer Shoes and Saucony once again—you may remember the “Snow Beach” Grid 9000 from last year—on another Polo inspired sneaker. This time it’s the Grid SD that gets a colorway taken from another of the most sought after pieces of Polo gear, the “Casino” button-down shirt. The all-over print roulette wheel scene on the shirt is mimicked by the Grid SD, featuring a red suede and rip-stop nylon upper with green synthetic suede referencing the felt of a casino table and gold accents. Further detailing includes roulette wheel logos on each tongue, one white dot within the Saucony logo to represent the roulette ball, and  “00” and “36” on each heel, which are the first and last numbers on a roulette wheel. The “Casino” collection will also include a t-shirt, tote bag, bucket hat and a set of custom Bicycle cards and dice. The Just Blaze x Packer Shoes, Saucony Grid 9000 will release via a special pop-up shop in New York City’s Lower East Side on October 16th. Additional release information is forthcoming, so stay tuned for more information.
