Extra Butter x ASICS GEL-Lyte V “Karaoke”

Hit the bar and grab the microphone in this upcoming collaboration from Extra Butter and ASICS on the “Karaoke” GEL-Lyte V. Only dropping a teaser video so far, Extra Butter hasn’t supplied the official inspiration for the shoe yet, but since all of their collabs are inspired by movies, our best guess is some inspiration from Sofia Coppola’s film Lost in Translation and Scarlett Johansson’s character in the karaoke scene (she’s wearing a pink wig, black shirt, and grey skirt which match the colorway of the shoe). If it seems that the GEL-Lyte V will be a women’s-only release, not to worry – they’re built in unisex sizing so they’re made for men as well. We’ll have to wait for more details from Extra Butter, so peep their teaser trailer below.
