Ronnie Fieg’s extensive body of work is undoubtedly highlighted by his collaborations with ASICS and the GEL-Lyte III silhouette. Although the shoe’s been around for twenty-five years, the retro renaissance put these split-tongued classics into the limelight with much of the load carried by the New York native. For years, Ronnie has stunned us with hit after hit thanks to impeccable and ever-evolving color-blocking schemes, but it all leads up to one yet-to-release homage – a mash-up of his greatest hits that has adopted the “What The” designation. These unreleased shoes are currently on display alongside thirteen of his past GEL-Lyte III designs as well as a curated selection of artwork hand-picked by the Joshua Liner Gallery, and in this exclusive exhibit in Miami that is open to just fifty individuals, Fieg will also launch his own book titled Homage. What most of you are wondering is if the “What The” Fiegs will even release, and it given the language of their press release, it may come soon. Get an inside look at the gallery below and stay tuned for more updates on this summary of Ronnie’s ASICS portfolio.
