The “Sport Red” Air Max 1 is a shoe that everyone should have in their respective collections. The classic Tinker Hatfield model exuded a head-turning appearance when the flashy Sport Red colorway landed on the first shoe to champion a visible air unit back in 1987 and the look is still going strong today. We’ve seen countless turns of the “OG Red” look over the years and now here’s one more with the Nike Air Max 1 Ultra. The combination of fuse and mesh allows for yet another slimmed down appearance – think of the AM1 on a diet to shed some extra weight. And yet the classic looks that still made this shoe such a must-have remain intact, from the Neutral Grey overlays (now just a fuse construction) to the high contrast mudguard. No word yet on when this pair will hit stateside retailers, but overseas shops already have the pair stocked.
