If You Remember These ASICS From 1994, You’re In Luck

After a big year in 2015 for the ASICS Tiger retro running line, things appear to be getting better than ever with yet another new reintroduction of a vintage silhouette. This time it’s the GT-Cool Xpress from 1994 that joins the already solid lineup from ASICS, which will debut in 2016 in one of its original colorways that you see here. ASICS fans should remember that the brand brought back the GT-Cool in 2013, and now its updated “Xpress” version is back, which features a tongue system you’ll recognize from the GEL-Lyte V as well as visible GEL windows in the heel. Preview the original white/purple/lime colorway of the GT-Cool Xpress here, and be on the lookout for them at stateside ASICS Tiger retailers soon.
