Today marks the national recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. and his groundbreaking effortsin the civil rights movement over half a century ago. The National Basketball Association has a full schedule of games on hand, with plenty of tributes to the influential peacemaker dotting today’s games, and brands such as Nike and Jordan Brand have come out in full force with outstanding homages to this important holiday.
